Face to Face Tutoring

In person 1-1 tutoring

Often, the best way to make progress is with face-to-face tutoring, enabling me to really understand not just what your child knows, but how they think and their level of understanding. Being able to watch your child as they work out their answers and listen to them as I hear their thought processes means I can work out how I can most effectively help them reach their potential.

I offer face-to-face tutoring in Mathematics, from Reception through to A-level. I am happy to teach children or adults. Depending on the time of day and location, this can be either at my house or I can come to you. I provide tutoring in Raynes Park, Wimbledon, Motspur Park, Worcester Park and New Malden and local areas nearby. I am equally willing to help those struggling as extend those who want more, and everything in between.

What do I offer?

  • An initial assessment, aimed at understanding what level your child is at, the depth and breadth of their understanding, their learning needs and style as well as discussion with parents/guardians around aims and goals for the tutoring. The cost of this is £100 and takes between 1-1.5 hours, depending on the age of the child.
  • Weekly tutoring slots. Depending on availability and location, this can be either at my home in Motspur Park, SW London, or I can come to you. The cost is £65/hour. For availability, please contact me.
  • Regular feedback to parents (and/or directly for older children) on your child's progress, and my goals and targets for them.
  • Work to do between sessions if desired.
  • Close to exams e.g. GCSEs/A-levels/7+/11+, I can increase the frequency of sessions to accommodate the need for extra input.
  • I am able to work through the school holidays and at weekends, subject to my own annual leave.

Who is this for?
